The New Venture Creation Learnership is designed to develop appropriate skills and knowledge for the

establishment and development of entrepreneurial enterprises, addressing the economic and behavioural

barriers, and creating long-term solutions for job creation and SMME development.

  • Using basic mathematics in order to fulfill new venture functions effectively;
  • Applying basic communication skills in new venture creation context;
  • Determining market requirements and manage the relevant marketing and selling processes;
  • Demonstrating an understanding of the sector / industry in which the business operates;
  • Determining financial requirements and managing financial resources of a new venture;
  • Managing business operations;
