Description

In this comprehensive course, students will gain in-depth knowledge and practical skills necessary for proficiently identifying and understanding automotive vehicle models and parts. The course is structured into three units, each focusing on critical aspects of automotive product knowledge. Unit 1 introduces the identification of vehicle models according to standard specifications. Students will learn how to accurately interpret and understand client descriptions to issue the correct parts. The unit also emphasises the importance of using open-ended probing questions to confirm product verification. Unit 2 delves into the explanation of vehicle systems, detailing their various parts, operations, and interrelationships. Students will be trained to identify specific components within vehicle systems according to standard company procedures and to locate these components efficiently. Unit 3 focuses on the organisation’s methods for identifying vehicle system parts, explaining the processes and procedures involved. Students will determine the required parts, part numbers, and quantities according to standard procedures and verify the parts physically in terms of the vehicle parts identification system.
